The Cross Sound Transportation Coalition (CSTC) has unanimously voted to endorse Frank Mahaffay for election to the Washington State House of Representatives. Mahaffay is running for election to the House as a State Representative from the 23rd Legislative District.

That legislative district represents the communities of Hansville, Kingston, Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Silverdale and the great majority of Bremerton. As a 23rd Legislative District Representative, Mahaffay pledges to work closely with legislators of the other two local legislative districts, 26th and 35th, to effectively represent Kitsap’s interests — without regard to party affiliation.

“It isn’t about representing the party’s point of view,” said Mahaffay, “It’s about representing the people of Kitsap County and doing the right thing by them.”

Asked why the Coalition’s board unanimously endorsed Mahaffay, Jim Martin, the Coalition’s chair said, “Frank understands, agrees and supports the CSTC’s goals.”.
