Fritz elected to lead KMHS Corporate Board

Lee Fritz of Silverdale has been elected president of the Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) corporate board of directors for 2004-05. Fritz is owner of Sound City Foods, Inc., which operates the area Burger King franchises, and is co-owner of the local Taco Del Mar stores.

He’s been a member of the KMHS board for five years, serving as an officer and on the human resources committee. He is joined on the executive committee by Jeanette Berkovitz as president-elect and Rochelle Doan, M.S. as secretary-treasurer. Emma Van Acker, immediate past president, remains on the executive committee in an advisory capacity.

Also serving on the corporate board is Poulsbo attorney James C. Tracy, Jean Mackimmie, R.N., Greg S. Memovich, Dennis Veloni, Paul Dour, Sr., Marti Lewis, Ed.D, Peter Douvis, Scott Lindquist, M.D. /MPH, Roy Okamoto, and Linda Cabelleros-Kroum. Carolyn Powers, member of the Port Orchard City Council and Wes Tallman, retired vice-president of Kitsap Bank in Silverdale, have been honored as emeritus board members due to their long-standing commitment and service to the organization.
