Michael R. Sand, president of Timberland Bank, recently announced the addition of Derek Young as manager at the Poulsbo branch. Young will oversee operations and loan activity for the branch which opened in 1999.

Young, a resident of Gig Harbor, has over four years experience as a loan officer and realtor, and was most recently associated with Puget Sound Lending LLC. He also serves as a city council representative.

Timberland Bank plans to open a branch office in Gig Harbor this summer.
