The National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) has elected Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union (KCFCU) Marketing Specialist, Cathy Brorson, as its North West Regional Coordinator and Media Manager. The appointment was announced at the NYIB national conference, recently held in Madison, Wisconsin.

The NYIB is a network of credit union professionals, who help credit unions attract, serve, educate youth and develop leaders for the credit union movement.

In that slot, Brorson will serve as the voice for the NYIB, writing and coordinating press releases and network contacts.

In a separate election her NYIB peers elected her to serve as the North West Regional Coordinator. Brorson will focus on building connections with state League liaisons and credit union professionals to encourage youth financial education and to serve as an educational resource to the North West states.
