United Way of Kitsap County recently announced that it has selected Dave Foote as its new Executive Director. Foote will replace Barbara Stephenson who was recently elected to the position of Kitsap County Treasurer. Stephenson has served as Executive Director since 1991.

Foote was serving as the Director of the Human Services Division at Kitsap Community Resources when tapped for the position. His past experience includes motivational training while in the U S Navy, teaching accounting and economics at Climax-Scotts Community Schools and as Project Director for Rockwood Farms, a working farm for autistic adults. Foote is also an active volunteer, most notably as past Lt. Governor for the Division 36 Kiwanis and a 1999 Graduate of Leadership Kitsap.
