After a long and storied career in customer service with US West and later Qwest Communications, Tamara Ingwaldson has joined the staff at the United Way of Kitsap County.

Ingwaldson has a long history of local community involvement and helping others, including work with the Kitsap County Human Rights Commission and several other groups working to promote harmony and diversity. She is also vice chair of the Kitsap County Democratic Party.
