After spending more than 40 years as a civil service engineer with the U.S, Navy specializing in water systems, Danford Moore has come out of retirement and joined Northwest Water Systems. The firm acts as consultants for small, privately owned water systems in Kitsap, Mason, Pierce and Thurston counties, mainly assuring they meet all government and health regulations.

Moore started his government career at the former San Francisco Naval Yard and also served in Okinawa, Alaska and Australia before spending the last two decades at PSNS.
