Bainbridge Island’s Mariner Supply, Inc., the parent company of Go2marine, an online marine products store, has named Mark Freeman as Chief Financial Officer.

Freeman was formerly the executive vice-president and CFO of Poulsbo’s North Sound Bank and its parent company, Liberty Bay Financial Corporation, before it was sold to Frontier Bank.He brings more than 25 years of financial management and executive experience to the firm.

Freeman ees tremendous opportunity for the boating world in E-commerce. “When we look back in a few years at where the Internet has proven the best use of global commerce, it’s going to be in the area where Go2marine is operating. The highly-fragmented marine products industry is the biggest beneficiary of our centralized online sales and support program.”

In addition to his banking experience, Freeman also has been an investor, consultant and advisor to several start-up ventures. He and his family have been lifetime residents of Bainbridge Island.
