Steve Politakis has joined Kitsap Bank as a member of the bank’s senior management team. He will serve as senior vice-president and chief credit officer.

Bringing over 18 years of banking experience with him, Politakis’ primary duties will be administering and overseeing the bank’s entire loan portfolio, including commercial, real estate, Kitsap Mortgage and the consumer lending sectors. He will also be a member of the Asset/Liability and Marketing committees.

Prior to joining Kitsap Bank, Politakis was at Key Bank in Tacoma as senior vice-president in its South Puget Sound regional office, which included all of Kitsap Bank’s trade areas. He is a graduate of Washington State University and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
