Kitsap Bank president Jim Carmichael recently announced that the bank had promoted four people, honored another, and that bank subsidiary Kitsap Mortgage also promoted one person.
Gwen Woods was named assistant cashier and manager of the South Park Village Branch. Woods started with the bank in 1989 as a teller and advanced to bank operations assistant. In 1995 she was promoted to operations manager at the Belfair branch and in 1999 was selected to manage the opening of the banks Bethel and Lund location where she spent six months there establishing that branch. She returned to the Belfair office later that year, advancing to branch manager.
Barbara Fredericks was promoted to manager of the Central Kitsap branch. Fredericks has been working as an operations assistant in the East Bremerton branch one of the banks largest prior to her promotion. She celebrates five years with the bank this year.
Roger Fitzpatrick was named assistant vice president and compliance officer. Prior to the promotion, Fitzpatrick served as branch manager at South Park Village. He originally started with the bank as an internal auditor, is a Certified Bank Auditor and holds a business degree from Central Washington University. With over 17 years of total banking experience to his credit, Fitzpatrick marks a five-year anniversary with Kitsap Bank.
Maggie Haydock has been advanced to manager at the Belfair branch. Haydock started with the bank as a teller and in 1998 was promoted to operations assistant at the Silverdale Branch. In 2000, she received another promotion to manager at the Central Kitsap branch.
Denise Hike was named assistant manager of the Silverdale office of Kitsap Mortgage Co. Hike will celebrate her 10-year anniversary with the bank and has over 15 years of mortgage banking experience with FHA, VA, Conventional lending, builder financing and All-In-One construction loans for customers.
Edel Butler has been honored as Employee of the Quarter. Butler, a loan secretary at the East Bremerton location, is noted for maintaining and immaculate, error-free loan department where she processes loan documents for a large client base of commercial loans. |
