Commander Marci Pinkerton, of Bremerton was recently appointed to Girl Scouts Totem Council’s (GS-TC) board of directors. In that position she will be responsible for assisting in policy making, financial management and strategic planning efforts for GS-TC. Pinkerton will serve a three-year term.

Presently the Executive Officer of the Bremerton Naval Station, she began her naval career began over 22 year ago when she received a commission from Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI. Her personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (second award), the Navy Commendation Medal (third award) and the Navy Achievement Medal. She is an Acquisition Processional and a proven sub-specialist in both Manpower and Financial Management, plus holds a M.A. in Financial Management.
