| Dee Kinder, also known as The Basket Lady, was recently recognized by the Bremerton Chamber with the 2000-2001 President’s Award as its most outstanding volunteer.
Kinder has been involved in a number of projects in the past year including co-chairing the June membership drive, which brought in 129 new members; coordinating the Chamber’s booth at the Kitsap County Fair; chairing “Prime Time Under the Big Top,” the Chamber’s August trade show and filming a variety of Chamber events for broadcast on Bremerton Kitsap Access Television (BKAT).
She is currently chairing “Operation Chamber Rescue,” an effort to assist businesses adversely impacted by terrorist attacks. She is collecting cash donations for the Manhattan, Staten Island and Brooklyn Chambers of Commerce so they can help businesses reopen their doors and re-employ thousands of workers. |
