Five promoted at Kitsap Bank

Kitsap Bank recently announced that five of its employees at various branches in Kitsap County had been promoted.

Steve Nixon was named vice president of commercial lending at the Port Orchard branch. He will be responsible for business development in South Kitsap and North Mason counties.

With over 20 years of banking experience, Jenny Elliott has been promoted to vice president of operations at the East Bremerton branch of the bank — one of the bank’s largest in terms of total loans and deposits. In addition to her new duties, as operations manager, she supervises several other branches.

Chigbrow

Alice Chigbrow, who has 27 years of banking experience and has managed the Kingston branch since 1985, was named assistant vice president. She has been with Kitsap Bank for 18 years.

Manager of the 6th and Park branch in downtown Bremerton, Marlene Mitchell, has been promoted to the position of assistant vice president. With over 11 years of experience, she is well versed in loans as well as in operations, and oversees smaller branches of the bank.

Linda Monday, who serves as operations manager at the Silverdale branch and directs the bank’s Bangor facility, has been named to the position of assistant vice president.

Starting as a teller, this year marks her 20th with Kitsap Bank. The Silverdale branch is a mainstay for consumer and business deposits and loans for the bank.
