Pair joins medical staff at Group Health
   Group Health Cooperative recently announced that two new physicians have joined its local staff.

Kate Brostoff has been named as hospice director. The Bremerton resident is certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, and received a M.D. from University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, Calif., trained in internal medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., and did her geriatric fellowship at U.S.C. and the University of California at Los Angeles.

Brostoff also continues to volunteer as the medical director at Hospice of Kitsap County.

Michael Logue has joined Group Health as a family practice physician at the Poulsbo Medical Center.

A resident of Silverdale, Logue received his M.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Ore., and a B.Sc. from the University of Oregon in Eugene.

Logue recently completed a 24-year career in the Navy, last serving as a staff physician at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
