Local coach featured at International conference

Professional Coach Molly Gordon was a featured presenter at the International Coach Federation Conference, “Beyond Borders — Co-Creating Conscious Change,” which was held Oct. 26-28, in Vancouver, B.C.

The annual conference is the primary international professional meeting of the coaching profession, which numbers an estimated 10,000 worldwide. Interest in the event ran high as the 1,150 conference seats were sold out before mid-June, weeks before the organizing committee could even print a brochure.

Gordon presented an interactive workshop entitled “Something for Nothing,” based on teaching games drawn from improvisational theater. She also led a series of professional development labs to help sharpen participants’ presentation skills.

Gordon, who has been coaching since January 1996, recently moved her practice from Bainbridge Island to Suquamish. Her practice is specifically targeted at professionals ready to bridge the gap between meaning and prosperity.
