| According to Sheriff Steve Boyer, the Kitsap County Sheriffs Department is seeking interested citizens to serve as Disabled Parking Enforcement Volunteers.
After 16 hours of specialized training, volunteers will join experienced Disabled Parking Enforcement Volunteers in patrolling and monitoring designated public and private disabled parking spaces located within unincorporated areas of the County.
Volunteers will also educate property owners about regulations concerning disabled parking spaces and how to gain site compliance.
