More than 30 sculptures and mobiles by local artist Sally Jo will be displayed throughout July at Coho Winds Gallery in Belfair. A public reception will be held Saturday afternoon and evening,
July 1, from 4-8 P.M.

Inspired by the beaches and forests where she grew up, Sally Jo creates whimsical and wearable art using natural elements such as driftwood and recycled beach glass.

Her growth as an artist took a back seat to her professional development while working with the Bremerton Chamber and more recently as marketing director for a local firm.

Sally Jo’s sculptures and mobiles will be available for viewing and sale daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Coho Winds gallery, 3530 NE Old Belfair Highway. Her work is also available online at www.beachworks.net.
