Swanson to serve as interim historical director |
The Bainbridge Island Historical Society has hired Jack Swanson as interim director while its director and curator are on leave.
Swanson, a 23-year island resident, is a free-lance writer who has authored the societys book, Picture Bainbridge, A Pictorial History of Bainbridge Island, published earlier this year.
In his career, he has also served as editor of the Bainbridge Review and business editor of The Sun newspaper.
