Kruse joins the Shiers Law Firm

New chief executive at Westsound Bank
David K. Johnson has been named as the new president and chief executive of Bremerton’s Westsound Bank. The announcement was made by Lou Weir, chairman of the board of the bank.

Johnson, a native of Roswell, NM, served most recently as executive vice president of Pueblo Bank and Trust in Pueblo, Colo. Previous to that, he was a senior vice president with Norwest Bank in New Mexico.

Thomsen tapped as regional rep by Jones
Jeff Thomsen, a Bremerton investment representative for Edward Jones, has been selected to be a support specialist for the firm’s new investment representatives. In that position he will be responsible for training and mentoring approximately 16 new Jones representatives in this part of the state.

Credit Union honors Henderson
Gloria Henderson has been tapped as Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union’s latest employee of the quarter. She has been with the Credit Union for almost 3 years and works in the Accounting Department.

Her responsibilities include daily cash balancing for all branches, computer data entry and assuring accuracy for member accounts as well as back office support.
