| American Marine Bank (AMB) raised over $3,000 for local charities at a tag sale held Nov. 3 at the bank’s previous location at 9490 Silverdale Way. All cash proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Linder Foundation and the Kitsap HIV/AIDS Foundation. The Tag Sale was open to the public and included items such as used office furniture, office supplies and equipment. In addition to the cash donation, the bank donated over $3,000 worth of furniture to the Kitsap HIV/AIDS Foundation, Kitsap Community Resources and Habitat for Humanity.
“We’ve been banking in the old location since the mid 1970s so we knew our move to new offices would give us the chance to do some house cleaning,” commented Mary Hoover, manager of the AMB’s Silverdale office. “We’re thrilled to be able to leverage our need to liquidate supplies into a way to support local organizations.
