| Viking Bank held a grand opening of its Bainbridge Island branch on Jan. 13, according to Doug Stephenson, a senior vice president and market manager of Viking Bank. The new office is located at 921 Hildebrand Lane.
“We’ve been very pleased by our reception on Bainbridge,” said Stephenson. Viking Bank opened a temporary loan office across the street in May while its new branch was being built. “We’re looking forward to expanding our presence and our services to this community.”
The bank’s grand opening celebration included an opportunity to meet bank staff, as well as a promotional money market account offering an APY of 5.5 percent for six months.
Viking Bank’s new 2,600-square-foot Bainbridge Island facility offers full retail services in addition to its business products. The branch also features a drive-up window and a community room that is available to members of the community during and after bank hours. |
