Kitsap Bank recently announced the promotions of four officers. According to Steve Politakis, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, Kitsap Bank had a record year in loan production across all lines of business, while maintaining our position as an industry leader with superior asset quality. We are very pleased to recognize the contributions of each of these fine individuals, not only in their areas of specialty, but also for their impact on the Bank as a whole, and the communities they serve.
Pete Douvis was promoted to Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer in the Port Orchard branch. Douvis has been a commercial banker in Port Orchard since 1970 and joined Kitsap Bank over 11 years ago. He is an active member of the Port Orchard Rotary Club and President-Elect of Kitsap Mental Health Foundation.
Leslie Peterson has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Builder Banking Officer. In her new role, Peterson will oversee Kitsap Banks mortgage lending activities in Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam counties, including custom and speculative construction lending. She will also be responsible for real estate development and commercial construction projects.
Peterson has over 20 years of commercial banking experience and is an active member of Kitsap Home Builders Association and the Poulsbo Rotary Club, and is President-Elect of the Kitsap chapter of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women. She will be temporarily relocating from the Poulsbo branch to the banks Central Kitsap office on SR 303. Her permanent office will be located at the Silverdale branch, upon completion of a remodel later this year.
Jerry Christensen has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Equipment Finance. A 30 year veteran of commercial banking and equipment leasing, Christensen joined Kitsap Bank one year ago to head the Equipment Finance Division.
Jennifer Frederick was promoted to Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer in Gig Harbor. Frederick joined Kitsap Bank in 2002 and has played a significant role in growing the Point Fosdick branch. An active member of her community, she is Finance Chairman for Kiwanis of Gig Harbor; past event coordinator for Heritage Row, the Gig Harbor/Peninsula Historical Society fundraiser, and a member of the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce.
