| Money Wi$e Women Educational Services, a non-profit organization is hosting a Money Wi$e Women forum on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Silverdale at Central Kitsap Junior High School. The all-day conference is designed to educate and empower women on achieving financial fitness. There is no cost to attend and every participant receives a copy of the book Becoming a Money Wi$e Woman: Getting Your Financial House in Order.
The conference is sponsored by local businesses including CFA Northwest Mortgage; State Farm; Anji Sell, Edward Jones; American Marine Bank and Money Wi$e Women Educational Services.
The opening session is Achieving Financial Fitness presented by Marcia Brixey, author of Becoming a Money Wi$e Woman: Getting Your Financial House in Order. The lunchtime session is Understanding your values and goals to create financial success and prosperity presented by Shannon Bruce, of Inner Wisdom Coaching. Participants attend their choice of three breakout sessions taught by local professional experts.
