Kitsap Bank has launched a new Equipment Leasing Division. Jerry Christensen, has been named vice president and leasing division manager and will lead the effort. Christensen comes to Kitsap Bank from California, where he most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of American River Bank of Sacramento. He brings more than 25 years experience in banking, equipment financing, strategic planning, and leadership of branch operations and business development to the bank.
President and CEO Jim Carmichael noted, “Jerry is an experienced banker. He has been successful in both start-up and established banking and equipment finance situations. We’re pleased to have hom on board.”
According to Christensen, “Seventy-three percent of small businesses in the U. S. have found equipment leasing to be a suitable financing solution. We are very pleased to offer this additional financing option to our business customers.”. |
