The Washington Restaurant Association (WRA) has announced its endorsement of gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi. The Republican candidate said the endorsement will add tremendous momentum to his effort while unveiling the first part of his platform for creating jobs and boosting Washington’s economy.

By endorsing Rossi, the WRA leadership said it is looking for a change in leadership in Olympia — one that creates a better atmosphere for jobs and the economy. Leaders of the Olympia-based non-profit trade association said they decided to back Republican Rossi because of his strong support for small business and commitment to lessen the tax and regulatory burden on all Washington citizens.

“Dino Rossi is the candidate who best understands our issues,” said Gene Vosberg, president and CEO. “With this endorsement, the WRA joins many other business organizations who agree with Rossi’s approach to creating an atmosphere that encourages economic growth for Washington citizens.”

Industry leaders across the state view Rossi as the candidate best suited to promote a healthy economic climate in Washington.
