As of April 1, Bremerton-based KPS Health Plans began offering an updated Chamber Gold Plan for chamber associations.

The updated plan, which took effect beginning May, 1, improves on the previous Chamber Gold Plan by incorporating new benefits for maternity, mental health and Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ).

“KPS Health Plans has been a long-term leader in offering health plans that respond to the needs of our chamber clients,” said KPS President Elizabeth Gilje. “This updated plan will not only broaden the benefits offered through the plan, but it will also help our chamber associations receive benefits and rates similar to those enjoyed by larger groups.”

While the plan change was a result of a state mandate, the updated plan could be much more attractive to chamber members seeking these additional benefits.

The KPS Chamber Gold Plan is currently offered by 21 Chamber associations located throughout Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason and Thurston Counties.
