Peninsula Paint Company, a newly created entity, has purchased three paint stores on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas that were formerly owned by Benjamin Moore Paint Co.
The three stores are in located in Poulsbo, Port Townsend and Sequim and previously known as the Lovell Stores, because of their long-time association with H.K. Ken Lovell.
Benjamin Moore bought them several years ago in order to maintain them and protect their market share, said Ray Donahue, Peninsula Paint Companys Vice President of Operations.
Peninsula Paint Company was formed to purchase and manage the three stores.
The ownership is comprised of Ken Schuricht, President and CEO, Ray Donahue, Vice President of Operations, Mary Hall, Vice President of Marketing and Diane Donahue, Vice President/Controller.
The four partners have extensive backgrounds in the paint and retail industries.
Schuricht and Hall are owners of Winslow Hardware & Mercantile on Bainbridge Island and are majority owners of Winslow Paint Company, also located on Bainbridge. |
