The South Kitsap Helpline Thrift Store is offering a special military discount every Thursday, that’s good for active, retired and military dependents.

ID is always required each time in order to receive the discount, which can range anywhere from 25 percent to 50 percent off of purchases.

Helpline’s thrift store is located at 1351 Bay Street in Port Orchard (behind Key Bank).

It includes a vintage/collectibles area, a retro section, men’s and women’s plus sizes and a children’s section. The thrift store is open Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The South Kitsap Helpline is a nonprofit agency, comprised of the Helpline Thrift Store and the Helpline Food Bank.
