Long-time banker Jon Shelton has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Manager of Frontier Bank’s Western Region. Shelton has over 28 years of banking experience, and has been Vice President and Manager of Frontier’s Port Townsend Office for the past five years.

Frontier’s Western Region consists of eight offices located throughout Kitsap, Clallam, and Jefferson, Counties.

Shelton’s regional responsibilities will allow him to continue to work out of the Port Townsend Office and continue relationships with his many clients there. Shelton stated, “I felt it was important to stay in the Port Townsend area, as we don’t want to break up the momentum that our branch has developed in this market. We also felt it is important to remain focused on our continuing commitment to this community.”

Shelton is active in many community organizations. He is the vice president and immediate past president of the Northwest Maritime Center and is currently involved in the United Good Neighbor Campaign. He’s also a member of the EDC of Jefferson County and has served on the Board for the Port Townsend Rotary Club.
