| First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Port Angeles, which recently opened a loan office in Poulsbo, announced that former President and CEO James M. Harvey has been appointed Chairman of the Board. The appointment came following the death of former Chairman, Howard M. Mac Ruddell.
Harvey has been associated with First Federal for 29 years, and was its President and CEO for 18 of those years. During those years, First Federal grew in assets from $106 million to $388 million and expanded in Forks, Port Angeles, Sequim and Port Townsend. Following his retirement in 1997, he remained actively involved as a member of the board. |
