Kitsap Bank racks up record profits for 2000 |
Port Orchard-based Kitsap Bank reported it earned record profits for the year 2000.
Earnings were $5.8 million, compared to $5.2 million the previous year. The figures represent an 11 percent gain.
The primary reason for the increase was continued strong loan growth. Total loans increased by $37 million with loan volume exceeding $340 million. That is an increase of almost $80 in the past two years. Deposits also increased by $26 million in 2000. |
