Amy Burnett’s half hour TV show, “Amy’s Downtown” will air at a new time beginning Oct. 4 on BKAT’s channel 12 and 3. A different show subject will air every Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
Each program covers a dozen or more downtown happenings such as visits to museums and galleries, interviews with people on the street, construction projects, historical photographs, music, street markets, art and local current events. The series will run every Sunday until the end of March.
October will cover old footage of building demolition, viewing of a sub-basement massive 1922 boiler, voyage with a Sande Ace boat gathering, Evergreen Park surprise, Puppet Museum, local musicians, figure drawing session, art demo, visits with over thirty other artists and more.
BKAT will also air other special Burnett shows throughout each month. Program DVDs are not for sale, but “Amy’s Downtown” programs are shown in the Amy Burnett Gallery Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons. Call (360) 373-3187 for more information.
