Ashley Gardens caregivers
continue their education
Staff members at Ashley Gardens at Bremerton recently completed several different ongoing educational training courses. Lisa Muntuuntu, Thelma Gomez and Johnny Pantouw completed CPR training and Kathleen Shaw completed First Aid training.

Reuben Brooks, April Lopez, Jessica Bowen-Hatch, Tramell Clayton, Leticia Kullander, Victoria Thacker, Shelly Clayton and Jane Varner completed CPR and First Aid training.

Janet Presley, Shelly Clayton, Laura Perry, Evy Stafford, and Crystal Kindred completed a 28-hour class, meeting the regulations set by Washington State for caregivers to earn the “Fundamentals of Care” distinction.

Carrie Mulcahy and Beth Dotson earned mental health specialty training, dementia specialty training and continuing education hours for attending the Washington state Alzheimer’s conference. Also earning continuing education credit for attending the Washington Alzheimer’s conference were Crystal Van Horn, Gloria Tomacder, Janet Presley, and Shelly Clayton.

Beth Dotson also completed her A+ Administrator training through the Washington Health Care Association.
