Brix 25° “Restaurant of the Year”
The Washington Wine Commission and Seattle Business Monthly recently honored 60 restaurants at the sixth annual Washington Wine Restaurant Awards.

Named as the restaurant that promoted Washington wines above and beyond all others was Gig Harbor’s Brix 25°.

The eatery is the first recipient outside of King County to ever win the Washington Wine Awards most noteworthy honor. Brix 25° received a special custom blown glass sculpture by local artist Boyd Sugiki. The award adds to the recognition Brix 25° has received over the last few years including Most Innovate Wine List at the 2007 Washington Wine Awards, and Wine Spectator’s Award Of Excellence 2006 thru 2008.

According to General Manager Jason Winniford and Wine Director Daniel Jackson the restaurant offers a northwest exclusive wine program with 300+ selections of Washington wines. “It is our amazing good fortune to be enjoying life in one of the most exciting, dynamic, and growing wine regions in the world,” said Winniford.

“We work with producers and growers to bring our guests specific information on each one of our wines such as precise AVA and vineyard location, percentage of varietal blend, detailed tasting notes, production level, and winemaker/winery background information,” added Jackson.

Brix 25° is located in Gig Harbor’s Waterfront District, and is open for dinner service seven nights a week. You can view their current wine and dinner menus, as well as upcoming winemaker’s events at www.harborbrix.com.
