Republican candidate for Washington State Governor, Dino Rossi, will be making several speaking appearances in Kitsap County in the upcoming weeks. “We believe Kitsap is an important county for us to win,” stated Rossi. “While it is dominated by the Democrats, our message of reducing Christine Gregorie’s excessive spending is resonating very well with that group of voters.” Rossi also pointed out that he won Kitsap in 2004 as well.
Rossi will be holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, March 5, at the Old Town Bistro in Silverdale, beginning at 5 p.m. He will also speak at the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce membership meeting on Thursday, March 13, at 11:30. That meeting will be held at La Garmache, located in the Westbay Center in downtown Port Orchard.
Rossi will also speak the next evening at the Kitsap County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner, which is to be held on Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at Kitsap Golf & Country Club, 3885 NW Golf Club Hill Rd.
Reservations are required for the Chamber lunch and for the Republican’s Lincoln Day Dinner.
