2008 marks a special time in Kitsap Banks history, as the institution reaches its 100th year of service. The Bank will officially celebrate this milestone anniversary on Aug. 8, 100 years after opening its doors on the corner of Bay and Frederick Streets in Port Orchard.
As we reach our centennial year, we celebrate a past rich with tradition, and look forward to our second century remarked James Carmichael, Kitsap Bank president and CEO, We thank our customers for their loyalty, and reaffirm our commitment to providing our friends and neighbors with the best in banking products and services, progressive financial solutions, and unparalleled customer service.
In this age of mega-banks, and mergers, Kitsap Bank has distinguished itself by being a true community bank, by being locally owned and operated for a century. Its centennial year will be a year-long celebration marked with special promotions, customer giveaways, and the introduction of new, cutting-edge financial services. The public is invited to stop by any Kitsap Bank branch for a free commemorative calendar, while supplies last. The calendar is a tribute to the Banks past, as well as the communities in which it operates, and features the photographic work of several local artists.
