Kitsap Lake Storage brings
24-hour rental kiosk to Kitsap County
Kitsap Lake Storage introduces the launch of its new 24-hour Insomniac Rental and Payment Kiosk, the latest trend in service and technology in the Self Storage industry.

OpenTech Alliance, Inc., the designer of the Insomniac Kiosk, is the leading developer of self-storage kiosks. The “Kiosk” lifts customer convenience and security to new levels. With built-in fingerprint scanner, signature pad, driver’s license scanner and credit card scanner, it’s like a homeland security system at the local self-storage facility.

The Kiosk is 24 -hour customer service representative. It works 24-hours a day, every day and runs through contract provisions, processes the renter’s application, scans his ID, accepts payment and issues a contract and gate code. It also issues and sells locks.

The Kiosk features a talking animated figure named Megan and simple touch screen instructions guide customers through the rental and payment process. There is even a pager that allows customers to call the manager for assistance if necessary.

“The Insomniac Kiosk complements our top two priorities — bringing the best and most secure self storage to Kitsap County and providing the ultimate in customer service,” says Chuck Bair, owner of Kitsap Lake Storage. “Aside from its built-in security features, it allows our customers to rent a unit or make a payment when it is convenient for them, regardless of our office hours.”
