The “Tough Enough To Wear Pink?” Program raised $12,000 at this year’s Kitsap County Stampede and Rodeo and presented the check to Harrison Medical Center Oncology Services at the Harrison Foundation’s October board meeting. The funds will benefit complimentary services for radiation and chemotherapy patients at Harrison Medical Center.

In 2006, Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) rodeos across the nation raised one million dollars for breast cancer research. The 2008 Tough Enough To Wear Pink? event will be held at the Kitsap County Stampede on August 23.
