Santa’s coming... by boat this year
The annual Port Orchard Yacht Club Lighted Boat Parade with Santa in the lead, greeting children by name all along the shoreline is set for Saturday, Dec. 15 beginning at 5 p.m. The Lighted Boat Parade/Santa Ship route and approximate times of arrival are:
  • 5 p.m. Southworth
  • 5:15 p.m. Harper
  • 5:50 p.m. Manchester
  • 6 p.m. Orchard Point
  • 6:20 p.m. Point Glover
  • 6:30 p.m. Waterman Point
  • 6:45 p.m. Waterman Dock
  • 7:20 p.m. Annapolis
  • 7:40 p.m. Port Orchard
  • 8 p.m. Port Orchard Yacht Club
Last year the Port Orchard Yacht Club Santa greeted children at homes and public docks at 40 points all along the Lighted boat Parade route.

To request a greeting from Santa, call (360) 876-9010 and leave a message; call Donna Printz at (360) 876-3781; or send in your request to Port Orchard Yacht Club, P.O. Box 3, Port Orchard, Washington 98366. Attn: Santa Boat.

Each request must include all people to be greeted, a specific house location, (street address really helps) or the name of the dock on the parade route. Also include your phone number, in case of questions. Chairperson for this event is Fleet Captain Lee Hoffman.
