| The Silverdale Chamber of Commerce recently announced the creation of the ‘Diversity Prosperity Partnership.’ The purpose of the partnership is to collaborate with minority owned businesses and minority business people to create avenues to success. Darla Murker, Silverdale Chamber executive director, offered, “The goal of the partnership is to develop a network of resources, share information on issues faced by minority businesses, learn from different points of view, and create an environment that fosters successful business practices and in extension successful business people.”
The Partnership will hold its first gathering on at 8 a.m. Sept. 19 at Josef’s at the Silverdale Beach Hotel. Membership in the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce is not a condition of participation. Reservations are requested.
