| Two of Kitsap County’s oldest CPA firms, Southard, Beckham, Atwater & Berry, and Tucker & Buskirk Inc., announced on August 27, that they will merge. The combined firm will operate from the Port Orchard office of Southard, Beckham, Atwater & Berry, at 691 Bethel Avenue, in Port Orchard.
Tucker & Buskirk Inc., PS was founded in 1952, as the first Certified Public Accounting firm in Silverdale. Southard, Beckham, Atwater & Berry, traces its roots to 1957 and is celebrating its “50th” Anniversary.
Both firms have long offered a wide range of services to both individual and business clients, including accounting, compilation and review financial statement preparation, income tax planning and preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates and exempt organizations, estate and gift tax planning and preparation, business development, pension valuation, certified business valuation and litigation support, annual financial checkup, payroll services and IRS audit representation.
Both firms are also very well known within the Kitsap County business community for their commitment to excellence and history of long-term client relationships.
The merger will allow the new firm to enhance its ability to deliver quality accounting, tax and consulting services to clients, while maintaining the quality and personalized service for which both firms have long been known.
