Animal Emergency and Trauma Center celebrates 14 years in Poulsbo
Animal Emergency and Trauma Center (AETC) recently announced that it is celebrating its 14th year serving the household pets of Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam County residents.

Dr. Carollynn Zimmers along with Dr. David Burgess first opened the doors in July 1993. The practice, began as a small after hours hospital that provided overnight and after hours emergency care when local day practices had closed for the day, has become a state of the art emergency and critical care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

AETC has over 25 highly trained staff members providing quality care when unforeseen emergencies occur day or night. Also, in mid July, AETC began breaking ground on stage 1 of its facility expansion. This expansion will, when complete, more than double the existing floor space.

Drs. Zimmers, Burgess, and the staff of AETC are grateful for the support of the other veterinary hospitals in the community and look forward to continue serving them and their patients in the future.
