West Sound Workforce, which has offices in Poulsbo and Gig Harbor, has been officially certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) according to an announcement from the State of Washington Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises.
Julie Tappero, company president and CEO of West Sound Workforce, started West Sound Workforce in 1998. The company is a professional temporary and permanent staffing agency. West Sound Workforce, with offices in Poulsbo and Gig Harbor, serves their client partners’ staffing needs throughout Gig Harbor and the entire Kitsap Peninsula area. The certification allows West Sound Workforce, also as a small business concern, to better market to state and federal agencies procurement officers as well as to the private sector.
