Martone joins PCU Supervisory Committee
Peninsula Credit Union recently welcomed Douglas Martone as the newest member of its Supervisory Committee. Martone is an East Bremerton resident where he has been active in the community since 1974.

He holds a Masters degree in Business with a major in Management and Finance, as well as a Bachelors of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Previously, Martone served for seven years on a Supervisory Committee which included both Chair and Member positions. He is a Program Manager with thirty years plus experience and is a retired Captain from the United States Naval Reserves.

Martone has also been involved in the Central Kitsap School District PTA, and children’s sports programs for the past 20 years. Currently he is coaching “Upward Basketball.”

Martone stated, “I appreciate having a local area Credit Union that serves the local people in ways that other financial institutions cannot. I understand the importance of the Credit Union movement and believe in the way it serves the Kitsap Peninsula.”.
