| More than 50 percent of restaurants added healthy food options in the last year, according to the 2006 Pacific Northwest Hospitality Industry Wage, Benefit and Menu Report released this quarter by the Washington Restaurant Association (WRA) and DWS Executive Search & Recruiting.
The report, produced every other year, is considered the authority on trends and economics in the Northwest hospitality industry. The report provides restaurant operators with a tool for salary and benefits and other economic decision making.
The report surveyed restaurants in the Pacific Northwest and divided responses categorically by quick service restaurants, full service restaurants grossing less than $1.5 million, full service restaurants grossing more than $1.5 million, and full service restaurants grossing more than $3 million.
Other salary information for positions such as hotel manager, bookkeeper and sales and marketing staff are included. The report costs $75 for WRA members and $250 for non-members. Copies are available by calling the WRA at (800) 225.7166. |
