| United Way of Kitsap County is currently recruiting volunteer Loaned Executives for their annual fundraising campaign.
Each fall, local employers loan top staff to United Way of Kitsap County to serve as part-time Loaned Executives volunteers who help raise funds during United Ways annual campaign. Loaned Executives and their employers receive many benefits by working with the United Way, including top-notch training and experience in public speaking, sales and account management.
The success of our annual campaign is largely due to the high caliber of Loaned Executives we receive, states Dave Foote, executive director, United Way of Kitsap County. Loaned Executives are responsible for helping raise over 58 percent of our goal they are the backbone of our workplace campaign. Without their dedicated help, United Way of Kitsap County would not be able to do all it does for our community.
Part-time Loaned Executives volunteer 5-7 hours per week from late August through November and their hours are flexible. This year United Way is also looking for a couple of full time Loaned Executives that a company can make available for up to two months to work side by side with the United Way staff during the annual campaign.
Training for Loaned Executives will be Aug. 15-17 at the Harrison Medical Center in Silverdale. To find out more about the Loaned Executive program, contact United Way of Kitsap County at (360)377-8505 or tingwaldson@unitedwaykitsap.org. |
