| YWCA of Kitsap County is now accepting nominations for the Women of Achievement Award. The YWCA is looking for women that serve as role models in our community. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, Mar. 12 at 5 p.m.
Nominations should be submitted in writing to the YWCA of Kitsap County, PO Box 559. Bremerton, Wash., 98337. Include the name and address of the nominee, your name, address and phone number and a description of your nominee’s attributes and accomplishments.
Suggested categories for Women of Achievement award nominees are: Community Activist/Volunteer, Business and Professional, Education, Arts, Human Services, Government/Political, and High School Student (16 years or older)
The 18th Anniversary recognition Luncheon will be held on April 24 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside. Individual tickets to the event are $50.
