Business Journal seeking volunteers
for “Dress for Success” makeover
It may sound clichéd, but the clothes you wear do, in part, make the man (and woman), especially when it comes to professional success. Most of us know this, but many of us don’t quite know how to make that happen when it comes to our own wardrobes.

The Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal wants to help. We are seeking one or two volunteers who are currently clueless when it comes to dressing properly for their profession or business role. For example: the real estate agent who’s still wearing jeans and sneakers to showings; the company president who’s never owned, let alone worn, a suit; the receptionist who only owns low-rise pants; or the IT manager who comes to client meetings in her favorite rock band T-shirt.

Volunteers will receive a free haircut (as necessary) and consultation on dressing for success. You must be willing to be identified by name, have your hair cut and be photographed (before and after shots) for publication in an upcoming issue of the Business Journal.

To volunteer, please send an email to pr@wetapple.com, subject line “Dress for Success” by Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Include your job title in the message and attach a current photograph of you in your usual work clothing (low resolution only, please – that’s 72dpi or less). Volunteers will be selected at the discretion of Wet Apple Media staff.

Emails without photos or emails with attachments greater than 1MB will be deleted without being read.
