In compliance with the State and National Environmental Policy Acts (SEPA/NEPA), Washington State Ferries has prepared an in-depth analysis of the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal Improvement Project in relationship to the elements of the environment. Elements range from traffic to social economic to the natural environment, identifying the potential effects of the project and suggesting measures to avoid or minimize effects. Public comment and review are essential components of the environmental process and are welcome at two scoping meetings.
- Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at North Kitsap High School Commons, 1780 NE Hostmark Street, Poulsbo.
- Thursday, Dec. 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal building, 270 Olympic Drive SE.
