Symphony announces season
opening concerts

The 64th season of the Bremerton Symphony Association will begin Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. with “Encore Repertoire,” and it will feature “Overture from The Barber of Seville” by Rossini; Ravel’s hypnotic “Bolero;” and Sibelius’ Symphony #2. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. there will be a pre-concert chat with Maestra Elizabeth Stoyanovich.

On Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. the Symphony will hold its annual family Halloween concert, titled “Spooktacular.” Music in keeping with the seasonal theme will be featured and concertgoers and musicians are encouraged to wear their costumes. Pre-concert activities for kids and from-the-stage audience interaction make this concert for all ages.

Concerts are held at the Bremerton Performing Arts Center at Bremerton High School located at 1500 13th Street in Bremerton. Single-concert tickets are $22 for adults and seniors and $10 for youth.
